Product Photography Blog From Digital Exposure's Photographers

All Aboard!

Here at Digital Exposure we shoot a lot of bottles and take pride in showing them off to there very best! Photography is the first step in creating a really strong publication, and
recently we shot some lovely scotch whiskeys for one of our clients Macduff international. We were very interested to learn that our photography had been used to showcase a new store located on board a ship which is permanently docked in Germany. Below are some examples of our product photography on display.

Live On Merseyside?

If so you may have seen some of our Product photography dotted around various train stations in and around the north west.

The job was for an advertising campaign focused on photographing numerous products for shops in the Metquarter Liverpool. Our photography was used on billboards and also for  video advertisements.

The shoot itself was very interesting and diverse as we would have the chance to produce some lovely fashion, advertising and clothing photography.

Hot Off The Press!

Here at Digital Exposure we specialize in all types of photography from simple pack shots to food photography, Jewellery photography and most recently PR and Corporate photography. Last Friday one of our photographers went out to capture the events that were unfolding at local Oil giant Shell UK.
Shell has gifted the firm’s main UK research and development base in Thornton, to the University of Chester which is thought to generate 2,000 jobs. Which is great news!
There was a host of important people gathered at Shell including Tim Wheeler, the university’s vice chancellor and British Conservative party politician and Minister of state for universities and science David Willets.
It was our job to capture some interesting PR and corporate photography for this momentous event.
Take a look a few of the images below…

Evolution Of The Camera – Infographic by Digital Exposure

Today we are going to go back in time to check out what cameras were available in the beginning right through to today. The evolution of the camera infographic below starts in 1836 with the Daguerreotype, which was the first ever camera and brings us to 2012 with the Hasselblad H5D-200MS. The history of cameras and photography itself is a fascinating thing!

Fruity Bottle Photography

Time for something a little fruity to get that summer feeling going… I know the weather might not be up to much, but after photographing some very fruity juices and ciders from Somerset were feeling a little more summery.

The bottles were a mixture of juices and ciders shot both individually and in groups. We wanted to give them a but of a punchy feeling so used fairly contrasted lighting. With a mixture of unique flavours they do look very tempting! Check out some of the shots below from the shoot.

We photograph a lot of bottles (and we mean A LOT) at Digital Exposure. This includes a lot of wine photography so if your in to your wine be sure to check it out.
